April 5th CCRWC Meeting

10 am at Shoney’s Restaurant, 4148 US-127, Crossville, TN

“It Matters Who Governs” Series, Part 1

Speaker:  County Mayor Allen Foster

Join us to learn from today’s most knowledgeable Cumberland County elected official, Mayor Allen Foster. Not only is he currently serving his second term as county mayor, he previously served in the elected positions of county commissioner and chairman of the board of education. All local county elected offices will be on the 2026 ballot except for property assessor and school board members in even numbered county districts. This forum will be particularly helpful for those that have recently moved to the county. It’s important to know who represents you and in what capacity. Who knows? You might want to consider running as a candidate in next year’s elections!

Purchase of breakfast and/or beverages is optional. Attendees wishing to order food should arrive at least by 9:30 am.

April 15th GOP Election of 2025-26 Officers

5:30 pm at Cumberland County Community Complex, 1398 Livingston Rd

Every two years, all county Republican party organizations elect officers. Officers of the local party include chair, vice-chair, secretary, treasurer and vice-treasurer. Those wishing to be considered for the chairmanship must contact the Contest and Credentials Committee at shannonstout100@gmail.com by April 8th. All other offices will be nominated from the floor.

Voting in the election of officers is limited to currently registered voters in Cumberland County who have voted in at least three (3) of the four (4) most recent statewide Republican primary elections. If you have moved to Cumberland County in the last five years, you should obtain your voting record from your previous home and bring it with you to the meeting.
