Program: Self Defense, Personal Safety and Internet Safety

Arrive early to visit and see products for personal safety and self defense!
We’re calling in the experts for this very informative meeting. George Gerrard, a martial arts expert with 50 years of experience, will talk and demonstrate techniques modified for older and younger students that do not have the mobility or strength to overcome an opponent. We may practice some of the techniques as well!
George Gerrard currently trains at the Crossville Ishinryu Academy and has earned the following ranks: Ishinryu 1st degree; Shorin Ryu – 2nd degree, and Take Kwon Do – 4th degree. During his training, he has had many opportunities to work with civilian and military police in hand-to-hand combat.
Other presenters on the program will include:
Investigator Bobby Moore, Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office
Sherry Mason, Damsels in Distress, and John Mulcrone, local Byrna representative.
The County Sheriff’s office will provide a brief overview of internet safety and scam awareness. While Mrs. Mason and Mr. Mulcrone will highlight self-defense products and additional training opportunities.
